Seattle, Washington Hip-Hop artists Jamil Suleman and Spekulation (known for his viral hit remixes of Marshawn Lynchs infamous quotes featured on Pitchfork, VICE, and Sports Illustrated) come together to release new single and video, Curry-NA-Hurry Suleman clever lyrics and Spekulations signature catchy production make for the perfect recipe in this hilarious and informative music video. The concept is simple: 20 dollars, 1 hour, and the perfect curry. The idea came about during my college days. You remember, the days when we all lived off ramen, says Suleman. My Aunt surprised me with a phone call reminding me I owed her dinner. I realized I only had 20 bucks and about an hour, and through some miracle I pulled it off. It was epic and I needed to share my story with the world. The song features step by step instructions, from shopping to cooking, all rapped over the catchy arrangement of synthesizers and bass drums.
Curry-NA-Hurry is the first collaboration between Suleman and Spekulation, who met a couple years ago performing at the High Dive in Seattle.
