6/1/1904Four Language panel were used for Rangoon. This panel had languages namely Burmese, Urdu, Tamil and Chinese.
12/23/1912Rash Behari Ghosh and Sachin Sanyal threw a bomb at Viceroy Lord Hardinge II in Delhi. He had come to Delhi on an elephant for the initiation of the new capital. The Viceroy was injured in the bomb blast.

10/30/1947The first Spitfires from the Advanced Flying School at Ambala reached Srinagar and were soon engaged in strafing the raiders beyond Pattan.
