Another way to define depression is lack of energy. Think about the happiest times in your life: your graduation, a promotion, or an award ceremony. During these moments, you could feel your positive energy.
Depression is the difference between your expectation and current events. Some of the most important causes of depression follow below:
Sickness Broken relationships The death of a loved one Bad weather (or gray weather)
Some of the other issues that cause depression are lack of talent, lack of subject knowledge, and fear. Other issues such as finances, lack of confidence, unpleasant incidents, and so on can bring on depression. Of the above-mentioned items, broken relationships and the loss of loved ones are the most common causes of depression.
I always tell my clients that no matter what happens to us, nothing will be resolved if you cannot emerge from your sorrow. When you are stuck in sadness, eventually you will completely lose your positive energy and your health. People around you may also begin to feel depressed. (Do not try to resolve deep emotional problems when you are feeling depressed. The mind does not easily create solutions to problems in that state.)
Whenever something bad happens to us, the mind immediately invents negative thoughts about it. A better approach is to say to yourself, "I will think of this not as a problem but as an opportunity to learn and grow." The moment that you start to think this way, you will find enormous energy and competence. Life is a collection of challenges from which we can learn and grow.
Remember that every problem is multidimensional. We do not all see problems in the same way, and what may be an enormous challenge for one person might be easy for another. I am going to share a simple way to solve problems that is applicable for every human being.
