Ingredients
Rice flour 1 cup water 1 cup Curry leaves chopped 5-10 Red chilli powder 1tsp or taste bud Chilli flakes (optional) Salt to taste white sesame seeds 1 tbsp Cumin seeds 1tsp cold water as required to knead a dough. Bengal gram /channa dal 1/4 cup (soaked) butter 1tbsp oil for frying plastic sheet to spread mixture
Cooking Instructions
boil water in a pan. adding all ingredients in it except rice flour. once water boiled add rice flour & mix properly. once it cooled down adding little cold water make a dough. heat oil for frying . making this chekkalu disc. use any clean plastic sheet.take a small piece of dough on top cover another sheet flatten using ur palm.remove from sheet & drop carefully in hot oil .cook both sides till it turn golden brown. do same for all pieces. once cool down, store in an airtight container.
